1st JOURNEY: CHINA Our first collection aims at raising the quality of souvenirs. For a museum shop in the The Palace Museum, Forbidden City of Beijing, designer Agnes Fries has created a series of porcelain cups. They are produced by JiaJia Factories in Jingdezhen, China and will be launched this fall.
2nd JOURNEY: CC16 The series of vases called 'Strokes' designed by Agnes Fries are hand thrown and painted by skilled craftsmen in Jingdezhen, China. Inspired by brush strokes, they highlight traditional techniques in a new way. Every piece reflects traces of hands, hands who are brilliant at what they do. This September the vases are part of Crafts Collection 16 and will be exhibited at Maison & Objet in Paris.
3rd JOURNEY: TAIWAN In collaboration with Cacao Magazine we're part of Designer's Week in Taipei this September. In addition to launching the new souvenir collection, designer Agnes Fries will do a seminar on the title 'Making changes through making'.
